Crystal Williams

At home on the stage, touching the soul of the audience is where Crystal is meant to be.  A native of Jacksonville Florida, Ms. Williams is an honors graduate of Jacksonville University, an educator, mentor, sister, daughter, newlywed (to my love, Robert) and professional entertainer for life. Upon graduation with suitcase in hand and dreams in her heart, Crystal earned a scholarship to the internationally acclaimed Dance Theatre of Harlem, where she furthered her dance study and performed with their apprentice company in New York City.  Many pirouettes later led Crystal to understudying and performing the featured role in the worldwide international tour of Broadway’s “Sophisticated Ladies” spanning the globe from the U.S.S.R., Japan and Europe to the Kennedy Center Honors.  Soon, international theatre success birthed earning a spot in “Ragtime, The Musical” American premiere company and the US National tour.  The Aloha State invited Crystal to perform Ragtime’s lead role “Sarah” as guest artist which earned her coveted “Po’okela” award.  (Hawaii’s equivalent to the Tony Award).  Other shows include: South Pacific, Evita, Cabaret, Sweet Charity (Nikki), Smokey Joes Café, Sunshine Boys (Nurse) and Little Shop of Horrors (Chiffon).  In addition to musical theatre; Crystal has appeared in numerous industrials, commercial print ads for Disney and national magazines and has completed her first CD entitled, “Crystal Sings Part I.” In addition to performing, Crystal is a 2009 graduate of The Church of Jacksonville’s School of Ministerial Education and Training ( S.O.M.E.T.) and has led the Prison Ministry’s Creative Arts team ministering to inmates on a regular basis.  Being global, grounded and grateful, Crystal remains….
