About the MCT -
OVERVIEW -
Madison Community Theater is commited to the development of local talent in and around Madison GA. We strive to use local actors, musicians and technical crew in our productions. Over the last five years MCT has grown from a summerstock theater to a full company that provides quality shows for the citizens of Morgan County throughout the year. Actors at all levels of experience are welcome to audition for our shows. We are a non equity theater. MCT tries to provide a variety of school shows to give the students of Morgan County quality events to attend.
LEADERSHIP -
Madison Community Theater is a non profit corporation run by a board of directors.
Our board is presently seeking a new president! CFO is Ruth Bearden, publicity manager is Sarah Burbach, outreach and social coordinator is Pam Key and our master of the box office is Ginger Gardner. We have recently added three new board members to the team: Cindy Young, Barry Utley and Traci Alsbrooks. Kathleen Bryant is the Artistic Director.
VISION/MISSION -
Madison Community Theater will provide quality performance opportunities for children, youth and adults of Madison and surrounding communities. MCT will strive to include public, home school and private students.
MCT will not discriminate because of financial difficulties. If a child is asked to be in a production and can not afford tuition, that child will be awarded a scholarship. All scholarship information is confidential.
TUITION -
Tuition is due at the parent meeting.
Tuition is $100 first child, $100 second child, $50 third child, $50 fourth child
SOME MINOR PARTS MAY HAVE HALF PRICE TUITION DEPENDING ON STAGE TIME AND INVOLVEMENT. TUITION AND COSTUME COSTS WILL BE INCLUDED IN EACH PERSONS CASTING LETTER.
COSTUMES -
Costume rental is not included in the tuition. Costumes will be rented or purchased.
SEE COSTUME SHEET FOR YOUR SHOW. More elaborate costumes may have higher rental fees.
